It's no secret that I am a total romance addict..........romance fox...right!!!!
I love HEA's!!!! So, I was in heaven reading Revved, Samantha Towle's 1st book in her Revved Duet.

The story had everything I love in a love story.

An unforgettable hero - CARRICK RYAN (wow, is that not a so cool name!!!!) is a devastatingly gorgeous , talented and successful F1 driver. Known for his bad-boy image off the track and breaking women's hearts.

An out-of-the ordinary heroine -Andressa (Andi) Amaro (hell, I loved her name a lot!!!)Gorgeous, sexy, funny and talented. Daughter of an F1 driver, she had witness his death at the age of 10, when his car crashed and burned during a race. Now in her twenties, she has always wanted to work in the world of Formula One. Her dream has come true when she's hired as one of Carrick Ryan's mechanics.

Fabulous settings -The glamorous and sexy world of Formula One Racing......filled with sexy and dangerous drivers........exotic locations all over the world.......what could be better!!!

Chemistry between hero/heroine -When Carrick and Andi first meet - off the charts flying sparks!!!! Carrick has set his sights on Andi from the first moment he laid eyes on her..

Andi has one rule........she does not date racing drivers. But when she meets Carrick, she's unable to deny the attraction she feels for him. Fighting the strong feelings growing for him, she decides that friendship is the only way to go with Carrick.

She is not prepared to go through the loss and pain she and her mother experienced when her father died.

Carrick agrees at first - but he wants more. He's intense, determined and is prepared to do everything possible to get Andi to change her mind...

I enjoyed watching their relationship develop over a long period of time. Friends-to-lovers. From friendship to love and happiness.

What I also liked was that..yes, there was angst and issues both Carrick and Andi had but they were not dark and heavy.

Great dialogue/writing - Witty and so clever.

“The only type Carrick has is pretty with a vagina that’s open for business. But now, I’m starting to think that maybe now he has just one type—Andi Amaro.”

The banter and interaction between Andi & Carrick is off the wall................

“Well, fuck me. I was expecting someone-"-Carrick
"With a penis and a deep voice? Sorry to disappoint.” -Andi

“Jesus, you're so bloody ... forward." - Carrick
"You don't get anywhere in life by going backward.” -Andi

“Anyway, where were we?"-Carrick
"I called you a Neanderthal, and you snorted whiskey up your nose."-Andi
"Thanks for the thorough recap.” -Carrick

The story is fast-paced, filled with tension and intensity, sadness, fun, engaging main and secondary characters and some sexy and hot sex scenes.

What a surprisingly exciting story. Grabbed me from the first page and I felt so good when I turned the last page.

I can't wait to read the next book.
