The Last Time I Saw Her the 4th and final novel in Dr. Charlotte Stone Series by Karen Robards.
Am I glad I stuck to this series!!! I kept thinking, each time I read the previous books, if I should or should not!! Well, I should…and so happy I did. What a great conclusion!!
This was definitely my favorite book in the series.
I was beyond distraught with the ending of book #3. After everything Michael Garland….one of my favorite “ghost” heroes… did, despite his love for Charlie, why did something like that have to suddenly happen to him??
But in case you’re worried that it ends badly……stop worrying!!! It doesn’t!
In fact, the ending of this series was absolutely awesome….beautiful and totally endearing.
Michael Garland and Charlie Stone….what they felt for each other was pretty powerful. True love. True love isn’t ordinary, knows no depth. It suspends time. It makes the whole world stand still expect for the two of you. It stays with you. It has power to change your lives….and that’s what made it possible for these two people to find each other and be together for eternity…even when you face adversity, you will find each other somehow!!!
Even when I thought that some of the things were a bit unbelievable…no way ….never……something kept me hoping that these two characters would have a HEA!!!! Yes, a ghost and a human!!!
