WEDDED, BEDDED, BETRAYED by Michelle Smart is a revenge love story with a little twist!
Gabriele Mantegna had spent two years falsely imprisoned because of Elena Ricci's father. After his release, he's determined to bring her father to justice and travels to the Ricci island home to steal documents he needs as proof.
Whilst he's busy with his task, he saves Elena from being kidnapped or worse by some bad guys. In return, he blackmails her into marrying him. She agrees as she will do anything for her family.
He soon discovers that Elena had no part in her father's dirty dealings and soon he begins having feelings for her.
I liked the build-up of their romance. The intense chemistry, the sexual tension was pretty awesome with some sparks flying around.
Gabriele is your total alpha male. Elena is not a weakling...she's mature, strong and stands up to Gabriele and will not let him destroy her family that easily.
The plot was absorbing and intriguing.
I've read quite a few books by this author which I have liked and this was another that I enjoyed.
