THE PLAYBOY OF ARGENTINA by Bella Frances is the first book I’ve read by this author…and after reading this fabulous story, it certainly won’t be the last!!
I loved everything about this book. I’m not going into the whole synopsis of the book….the blurb gives you the info you need to understand what the story is about……so I am just going to add what made this book so engaging….
Set in the glamorous, glitzy, sexy and privileged world of polo, filled with gorgeous and sexy men on horseback, elegant, designer clad spectators sipping expensive champagne…
....how could one not be excited to step into this world..even if it’s just for a few moments!!!!
I adored Rocco Hermida – sexy, gorgeous, passionate, tortured and totally “besotted” with Frankie…of course that was something he was never going to admit…right!!! He’s an alpha-male after all…but wait..this guy has a side to him that totally drew me to him!!
Frankie Ryan….hey, I just adored this character. She had spunk, not afraid to take up challenges….which was pretty admirable after what she experienced those years ago…not only with Rocco but with her family as well!
I loved the scene where she tells Rocco’s ex-squeeze off!!!! Hell that was beyond funny and hilarious!! Her love and concern for Rocco and how she was able to help him overcome his demons from his childhood was so amazing….she was totally engaging and adorable!!!!
I liked the secondary characters, particularly Rocco’s brother, Dante. There was something about him that intrigued me…and I can’t wait to read his story.
And the ending ……totally awesome!!!!! The last few pages were absolute magic!!
So, if you want to read a love story filled with engaging characters, exotic locations and some really good dialogue…get this book…..
Okay, onto to Dante’s book next!!!
