The Moment of Letting Go by J.A. Redmerski
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Being such an ardent fan of J A Redmerski after reading her incredible series….The Edge of Never & In the Company of Killers…I suppose I was expecting something ---wow----in The Moment of Letting Go. But sadly…I didn’t feel the magic, the enchantment, the edginess in this book.
Yes, it’s a love story of two young people who meet in the glorious Hawaii setting, are attracted to each other, have a few angsty things in their past…a bit of drama….secrets…..it’s a sweet love story and nothing much else.
I story moved really slow for me….i skimmed over a few pages or more…..
And whilst I liked the two mc’s…..Sienna & Luke…I didn’t feel that deep connection between them. Perhaps it had something to do with them being so young…she’s 22 and he’s 24!!! But no, I have enjoyed NA books before….so why not this one???
Let me say that it was a sweet and cute story but a bit unforgettable for me. Though I did love the settings….that was the magical part of the story for me!!
