Sherrilyn Kenyon has, over the years and books, created the most original and ingenious series.
Choosing to walk into self-exile, after giving up fighting for the ancient Greek gods, Cratus/Jericho will be required to take up arms again if mankind and their world is to survive. But persuasion skills will have to be used if he’s to agree!
Delphine, Dream-Hunter and mankind’s protector against the predators who invade their dreams is very dedicated and committed to her role.
When mankind is threatened with destruction, she will have to persuade Jericho to help her in overcoming the evil enemy.
I really liked Jericho and Delphine as a couple and their relationship and the banter between each other had some really great lines…….
“Why would you do that? (Delphine)They were endearing and sweet and you wanted them to get their HEA.
Why do you think? (Jericho)
Because I’m a bossy hag and you’d rather be enslaved to a man you hate than deal with me. (Delphine)
You know…you’re not funny. (Jericho)
I think I’m hysterical. (Delphine)”
There is so much happening in the story plot with so many characters that at times I had to remind myself whose story was this book about! I would have liked seeing more of them together.
The character development in the series just keeps getting better and better.
Oh, cliffhanger at the end…..just to wet your appetite…and wanting to get the next book!!
