The Sins of Sebastian Rey-Defoe by Kim Lawrence is the 3rd book in the Seven Sexy Sins series and this one is based on pride.
Sebastian Rey-Defoe certainly never expected to have his marriage of convenience to be stopped by a woman he recognizes from years before, when he had humiliated her so publicly.
Mari Jones was determined to get her revenge on the tycoon but she never expected that her actions would bounce back at her.
I really liked the storyline….blackmailed into marriage and falling in love on the way!!!
My favorite character was Sebastian. I found him to be such an endearing likeable hero. He took his family responsibilities seriously, care for the people he loved and actually behaved in a very nice manner towards Mari. He was never cruel or unkind.
Okay, Mari was a bit of a ditsy kind of girl but all in all….yes, she made assumptions without thinking, opened her mouth and said what she felt or thought without even thinking about it!!!!
She was somewhat an endearing character that just grew on me…and I loved that she was a red-haired heroine!!!!!
I also loved the dialogue and the banter between these two. I laughed and smiled a lot as Sebastian tried his best to “get” who this adorable ginger head was!!!!!
The romance, the chemistry and the pacing was really enjoyable. The story left me with a good feeling….
