Stunning follow-up to book #1 Here Be the Sexist Vampires https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... which I absolutely loved.

A lot happens in this story. Preparations for Jared & Sam’s Binding ceremony, vampires stealing human babies from their mother’s wombs for sale to vampires who want children. Sam’s new powers that come about after being zapped by some mad-headed vampire scientists.
Jared has dropped his airhead consorts and is now totally committed to Sam, who still continues to surprise him….yeah, this girl is no pushover!!!!!!

“what was the point of giving your life to someone if they didn’t feel essential to you, if they didn’t feel part of you?”

There are so many things I like about book #2:

The character development and the growing bond between Sam, Jared and their team.

The chemistry between Jared & Sam is absolutely enchanting. The sexual chemistry is sizzling and pretty hot. The banter between them continues to delight me.

“You’d really give up your big, swanky apartment?”
“If you don’t want to move in there with me, yes.”
“But you love your apartment.”
“I love you more, dumb ass.”

And I fall more and more in love with Fletcher as time goes by….

I really like the writing style……the clever and witty dialogue is an absolute treat!!!

And the Binding Ceremony after many days of celebrations, filled with some hilarious and quirky new and old vampire characters is a great ending to this story.

I am really impressed with this author.
How come it took me so long to discover her!!!!
